Description
The PRODUTECH SIF – Solutions for the Industry of the Future mobilizing program aims to constitute an integrated response to the development and construction of new production systems, based on advanced production technologies, which enable the manufacturing industry to be equipped to face the challenges of the 4th industrial revolution .
It incorporates an integrated, coherent and strategically justified set of developments in key domains, foreseeing the development of new products and services, in the domains of production technologies, of multi-sectorial application and with an impact on strengthening the international competitiveness and sustainability of the industry, acting at the level of:
- Networked production systems
- Basic technologies for new cyberphysical production systems
- Development, management and improvement of cyberphysical production systems
- Enabling technologies, automation and advanced robotic systems
- Sustainability and integral efficiency of production systems and
- Advanced tools for the development of products and services.

2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

On the 3rd of December, the Annual Conference of the PRODUTECH SIF Mobilizer Project took place at EXPONOR's Congress Centre, during the EMAF2021 International Fair, as part of the PRODUTECH FÓRUM | EIT MANUFACTURING | PRODUTECH SIF CONFERENCE .
After 4 years of intense research, implementation and validation of a wide range of solutions, the main facts and results achieved, which emerged from an open and in-depth collaboration between companies and various actors in the System, were now presented within the scope of this conference. National Science and Technology.
This project involved a set of dynamics of knowledge creation and its transformation into innovation and addressed, in an integrated way, new technological challenges with relevant structuring effects at the level of the production technology sector, with the main objective of stimulating business investment in of R&D, as well as strengthening its competitiveness and sustainability, both in the national and international contexts.
Due to its transversality and scope of the skills involved, this project was broken down into multiple partial projects that are part of the achievement of a global objective. This conference made it possible to address each of these subprojects, highlighting some of the solutions developed and some of the case studies, and culminated in the presentation of the demonstrator that allowed the incorporation of the largest number of results from several of these subprojects.
