Description
Development of new methodologies, strategies, tools and approaches that will converge in new products, services and innovative systems (production technologies), aligned with the challenges of the circular economy and based on ensuring sustainability, ensuring significant levels of impact, from the start, in this sector and in the most diverse industrial sectors.
It incorporates a coherent set of interventions, aimed at the development of products-systems-services, ecosystems of tools and applications, methodologies and strategies, supported by new digitization paradigms, aiming at:
Capacity building for the development of new sustainable products (production systems and components)
Advanced integration and management of sustainable production systems, zero defects - zero impacts environmental
Symbiotic management of production ecosystems and supply chains in a circular context
And the implementation of circular and sustainable approaches in manufacturing industry.
It results from the action program of the PRODUTECH cluster and from the clustering movement at FTP, comprising core developments of the strategic axis “Mobilization for frontier R&D+I”.

On the 27th of October, the first Annual Conference of the PRODUTECH4S&C project took place at the Consuelo Vieira da Costa Auditorium of ISAG, in Porto, with the objective of marking not only the conclusion of the first year of execution of the project, but above all, the beginning of a new stage, associated with the consolidation of concepts and their materialization.
This was the first public session held within the scope of this project, which was attended by Eng.º Eduardo Bacelar Pinto, Member of the Board of Directors of the National Innovation Agency, and allowed to perceive the strong commitment and involvement of all partners , with special emphasis on business partners, who integrated a set of 4 panels, each dedicated to a PPS (subproject), where they presented the main solutions under development, as well as the associated expectations.
The PRODUTECH4S&C project comprises a consortium made up of 24 co-promoters and aims to develop new methodologies, strategies, tools and approaches that will lead to new innovative products, services and systems, aligned with the challenges of the circular economy and based on ensuring sustainability, with impact on the production technology and manufacturing industry.

No passado dia 2 de junho decorreu, no Centro de Congressos da EXPONOR, durante a Feira Internacional EMAF2023, a Conferência Final do Projeto Mobilizador PRODUTECH 4S&C, tendo sido integrada na Iniciativa conjunta FORUM PRODUTECH | EIT MANUFACTURING | CONFERÊNCIA FINAL PRODUTECH 4S&C.
Concluídos 3 anos de execução, o Projeto Mobilizador PRODUTECH4S&C constitui-se numa resposta da fileira das tecnologias de produção (FTP) para a edificação de uma indústria transformadora circular e sustentável. Este projeto preconizou o desenvolvimento de soluções diferenciadoras, em resposta à urgência da transformação da indústria no sentido da sustentabilidade e economia circular, possibilitando à Fileira das Tecnologias de Produção a assunção de um posicionamento chave num nicho global: tecnologias de produção facilitadoras da circularidade e sustentabilidade industrial.
Durante a Conferência Final do Projeto foram apresentados os principais resultados alcançados, que emergiram de uma colaboração aberta e aprofundada entre empresas e diversos atores do Sistema Científico e Tecnológico Nacional (SCTN).
Pela sua transversalidade e abrangência das competências envolvidas, a conferência foi constituída por três painéis principais que representaram três demonstradores industriais (Demonstrador COLEP Packaging - Cadeia de Fornecimento/Energia; Demonstrador JPM -Desenvolvimento de Produto /Tecnologias de Robótica; e Demonstrador MC – Sustentabilidade).
O encerramento deste projeto será ainda marcado pela realização de duas sessões de apresentação, in loco, dos demonstradores COLEP Packaging e JPM, nos dias 27 e 29 de junho, respetivamente.
