On May 24, 2022, the METAL DIGITAL - Conference & Workshop Cycle took place at the premises of AIMMAP - Associação dos Industriais Metalúrgicos Metalomecânicos and the like in Portugal, which also took place in online format.
This event resulted from a partnership between CATIM, AIMMAP and IEP (Instituto Eletrotécnico Português), and emerged within the scope of the INDigital4.0 project.
The topics addressed focused, above all, on Digital Transition, Green Transition, Innovation, Competitiveness and Sustainability, targeting the metal industry.

Marta Sousa from CATIM was present at the 13th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics , which took place in New York, between the 24th and 28th of July.
Marta Sousa’s participation included an oral communication entitled “Assessing occupational exposure to ultrafine particles during metal 3D Printing” .

24th International Conference Materials, Methods & Technologies 2022 (MMT'22)

O CATIM esteve representado por Joana Leal e Cláudia Fernandes na Conferência Internacional MMT’22 - MATERIALS, METHODS & TECHNOLOGIES, que decorreu entre os dias 19 e 22 de agosto. A participação contou com a apresentação de dois trabalhos de I&D:

SEMINÁRIO "TECNOLOGIA & EMERGÊNCIA DE NOVOS DESAFIOS PARA A INDÚSTRIA"
Encerramento dos Projetos INDigital4.0 e IS2Industries
No dia 22 de setembro realizou-se no Edifício da AIMMAP - Sala Jorge Macedo Casais, o seminário "Tecnologia & Emergência de Novos Desafios para a Indústria".
O evento teve como principal objetivo impulsionar a discussão sobre as tendências tecnológicas e novos desafios que se impõem à indústria, bem como assinalar o encerramento dos projetos INDigital4.0 e IS2Industries. Sob a moderação do Eng.º Francisco Alba, o primeiro painel contou com a presença dos representantes das Empresas Erising, MUVU Technologies e EGITRON, que partilharam a sua experiência e conhecimento.
No segundo painel assinalou-se o encerramento dos projetos INDigital4.0 e IS2Industries, com a partilha dos principais resultados alcançados em ambos os projetos.
